Joao Ramos Silva, 71, of Pawtucket RI went to Heaven on February 21, 2023. Joao was born on January 3, 1952, in Santo Antonio, Cabo Verde. He was the son of late Antonio De Jesus Rocha and late Tomasia Silva Ramos. He was the devoted husband of Ana Rosa Silva for 32 years. He was a loving father of Carlos Silva, Marcos Silva, Arick Silva, Odair Silva, Paulo Silva and to his stepchildren Rosy Santos, Neusa Silva, Crisolita Silva and Tony Timas. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is survived by one brother in the United States, Paulo Rocha and 16 brothers and sisters in Cabo Verde/Europe.

Joao was a positive happy person who loved life. Joao had a contagious smile and a heart of gold. He loved watching his favorite soccer team Porto and the latest was watching Novela with his wife. He valued spending time with his family and friends and cherished every moment he had with them.
Joao will be deeply missed by his wife, children, grandkids, daughter and son in laws and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 27th, 2023, from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln RI 02865. The Funeral will take place on Tuesday, February 28th, 2023 DIRECTLY at Mt. St Mary Cemetery Chapel at 10:30am.
